From the earliest days of Christianity, Jesus's disciples have used candles as an invitation to prayer. The light of a candle has united one's prayer with God's divine mercy and providence.

Sacred Heart Church contains four devotional spaces. Each devotional space includes a place for quiet prayer and perpetual candles that offer us the opportunity to grow in our devotion to God. 

Devotional spaces include:

• Our Lady of Graces
• Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
• Our Lady of Fatima
• St. Joseph
• St. Anthony

Our Lady of Graces, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and Our Lady of Fatima candles can be lit for one day, one month, or one year.  For requested candles lit continuously for one year or one month, a small plate engraved for your intention will be added to the candle. St. Joseph and St. Anthony candles may only be lit for one day within the church.

Remember a loved one by burning the Sanctuary Lamp in their memory. The Sanctuary Lamp burns for a week (from Saturday to Saturday) at a time.
