Baby Bottle:
We are collecting donations for A Women's Concern - Your Options Medical, a local non-profit that is dedicated to helping women and couples who are facing unplanned pregnancies to choose life. You can pick up a baby bottle from the church and bring your bottle back with your donation on April 10.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul:
The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVdP) is a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships and service to people in need. The Society offers person-to-person service to people in need. On March 20, the second collection will be for the Sacred Heart Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The Society also has poor boxes at each entrance where you may drop a donation throughout the year.
Fire Victims:
At the end of February, a 6-alarm fire broke out at the corners of Maverick and Orleans Street and left 25 people homeless. Most people lost everything. Gift certificates and new clothing items are being collected at the BCYF Center at 112 Paris Street.
AVSI:
AVSI is a nonprofit organization founded in 1972 that implements development and humanitarian aid projects in 38 countries and has helped 5 million people including over 20,000 children. Members of AVSI will be at Sacred Heart on Sunday, April 3 after the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Members will be selling items made by the people the organization serves to raise money.
