Our Parish volunteers are the very lifeblood of our Parish community and are vital to our success. Please review the areas below for ways in which you can become involved at Sacred Heart. To learn more about the ministry below, please contact the Parish Office by email or telephone.
Altar Servers
Altar servers assist the priest during Mass. Boys and girls in the 3rd grade or older may serve at the altar for weekend Masses, weddings, and other liturgical celebrations. Adults are also welcomed to serve as Altar Servers.
Greeters/Ushers
Our ushers are the first people you will meet upon entering the church for a weekend service. The role of the usher is to warmly greet parishioners and visitors and assist them with their needs. Ushers also distribute Parish bulletins, manage the offertory collection, and manage the line to receive communion.
Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic ministers assist the priest during Mass with the distribution of the Eucharist. They may also assist the priest in bringing the Eucharist to homebound parishioners.
Hospitality
The Hospitality group assists with the planning of parish events.
Lector
The ministry of the lector is one of the most visible roles of service at the Mass. The lector helps the community's Scripture reading become the living Word of God.
