This Sunday Catholics around the world will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).
Pope Francis said, “the Eucharist communicates the Lord’s love for us: a love so great that it nourishes us with himself; a freely given love, always available to every person who hungers.... To live the experience of faith means to allow oneself to be nourished by the Lord and to build one’s own existence not with material goods but with the reality that does not perish: the gifts of God, his Word and his Body.”
Join us on Sunday, June 2 immediately following the 10:00 a.m. Mass for a procession honoring the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. We will meet in the church parking lot at 303 Paris Street, East Boston. If you are not attending the 10:00 a.m. Mass, please be in the parking lot at 10:45 a.m. Everyone is invited to participate in the procession. Light refreshments will be served following the procession in the parish hall.
